In North Central PA there is a huge number of turkeys being seen. It is not too rare to see as many as 70 to 100 turkeys in three days or less. It is a good thing for wildlife viewers and for turkey hunters, so good luck on your hunt if it is with a shotgun or a camera.
This is a photo of a young bull elk just after he was released from a swing set that he was stuck in. The game commission saved him but his one eye was injured and his one antler had to be sawed off. I would like to thank the game commission for a job well done.
This is a photo of a mature cow elk in March of 2009. She was trailing a herd that was moving across an open field about two hours after the sun came up.
